Man unless you beat the/a real champ in a division that title shouldn't even count. For instance at 147 you need to beat Spence or Crawford otherwise it isn't a real title. Anything else is just a perfect example of cherry-picking.

For Mikey to go up to 147 and have the balls to face Spence, and the toughness to last 12 rounds, I don't see why he doesn't really want the Loma fight. Not a good look for him imo.

Knew he was going to stick at WW. Since that is the case and he wants big fights, put him in with Danny Garcia next. Now that's a damn good scrap.

Problem is Porter is rumoured to be fighting Spence next, so Spence will likely have that one.

Thurman and Pacquioa also supposed to be fighting next so that should be one less Champ and then I would have hoped they will they match Spence with winner of that instead of Mikey.

Swift Garcia isn't a title holder.

That leaves Crawford which I doubt Mikey could beat as he's even more recognised for his boxing skills than Spence.

I don't think growing will change much between him and the likes of Spence/Crawford as he was basically outboxed not over powered. WW just don't seem like the right division for him, his style doesn't translate as well as fighters like Pac.

140 isn't a bad division for him though and it could be good seeing him taking on the WBSS winner when that happens.

How do you run from Loma but fight Spence?

Loma lost to an actual cab driver and Khan Jr. Was giving him fits. Ohh and he was just smoked AGAIN in the 1st round.

              I knew it.

This guy will become the weakest 5 div champ in history. This will greatly mock the other greats in boxing.

I agree with all of this. Where is the money at 140 though? Something tells me Mikey is motivated by money and ego these days. He's just waiting on Bob to send the big offer before he starts the hard process of boiling down to 135.

He gets credit for following through and fighting Spence despite laying an egg. It's been clear for a while though Mikey's goal is to just pile up titles in as many divisions as he can but not necessarily be the #1 at any of the weights or clean them out. Not for me. That's the Broner route. Granted, he's MUCH better than Broner but that's probably why it's more of a disappointment to me. I think Mikey will retire fairly soon maybe after he grabs a secondary version of the WBA or something.

He better hurry up because he's not beating Spence nor Crawford.

Same guy said Ward ran from GGG to fight Kovalev.
