Ten percent is the standard, but as fighters earn more, they often negotiate a lower rate. Manny did this with Roach, who had already earned millions with Manny, so when the Floyd fight was signed, Manny made Roach an offer and he accepted. I doubt his offer was 2%, probably closer to 5%. If GGGs offer of 2% is true, it is a lowball offer. However, where else is Sanchez going to earn $2M over the next 6 fight/three years? At his 10% rate, he'll need to train someone earning over $3M per fight for 6 fights...who is that going to be?

10% is the "standard" for boxing trainers but if you think you are getting 10% from Top Tier fighters at GGG's level when he is getting paid 100 mil you are smoking some ****. 10 million dollars is a joke.

2% is the fight number IF ITS BASED on his 100 million contract. 2 million dollars from 1 fighter is crazy good money considering Abel has a stable of fighters to train.

You sir need to look at number values and not just percentages, unless you think GGG should be ****** and ACTUALLY pay Abel 10% of his 100 million contract?

Why is it the same people that sat here for years talking sh it about Sanchez, how bad of a trainer he was, he was always saying dumb sh it, and using Sanchez "154-168" words against GGG for years, why those same people mad because he didn't get caked up?

he dont deserve a third canelo fight. he needs to beat andrade or charlo.. or fck off.
GGG would have been successful just the same with anyone in there. In fact, if he was fighting smarter without Abel, he may even be less shop worn right now.

              I like LomaGOAT.

I'm a white guy and I like Fury too

TC, Ca$hnelo, Mikey, AJ, Kovalev...I just like good fighters. Most happen to NOT be white, but that has nothing to do with race.

I'm outspoken about HATING PBC garbage that's almost all black people making excuses for other black people for not fighting the best fighter in the world - Terrence Crawford.

              **** has me CTFU

Good post! Like Abel is going to get 1.75 million per fight. That's crack smoke worthy stuff from him.
If he got 2%, that's still $400k per fight (6 week camp) That's hella good money.

Yeah ten percent is the standard trainer fee, if ggg is reducing it to two percent thats btch made and foul.

Pacquiao gives Roach more money than any trainer in boxing, when he fought floyd pacman paid him $5million koncz got mad when roach said he wasnt paid for the horn fight and reveal roach shouldnt be talking because many gave him 5 million when they fought floyd. Pacman earned like 120 million for the mayweather fight.

Pac typically gives roach an extra 500k to a million on top of the trainer fee. But the floyd fight was so massive he gave roach that amount for gratitude thinking it would be their last hurrah.

Yup, when fighters start making over 20 million per fight a lot of them they negotiate flat fees instead of ten percent. Koncz claimed pacman paid roach five million for the floyd fight thats a lot more than floyd jr paid his father, floyd sr probably only earned 500k for that fight whil his son earnd 200 million.

Roach said pacman pays him generously pac will write down a number on paper and roach will shake his head and agree when the number is good, but roach the first number is always more good so he never had to say no.

Roach is the highest paid trainer in boxing, its why he almost cried when manny dumped him because he was missing that fat check.
