GGG still did body work. Golovkin boxing the way he did got him back into the fight in the 2nd half. Yes he could've threw more body shots but his loss ultimately wasn't down to ignoring the gameplan (which I don't think they had because Abel doesn't teach that way).

I agree I think GGG needs a fresh pair of eyes so he can get past canelo. Sanchez did a great job but sometimes New perspective helps. Plus Abel talked too much shiznit for my liking.

If Buddy he will get a per fight fee no % of gross like is standard for long time teams. GGG pulling a cheap move Hopkins did it so many others get molded for years then when they hit big time the 10% not fair

GGG and JMM have a lot of similarities! Would GGG be able to adapt to Popachenko, or too set in his ways?

I think not training at altitude anymore will help him a lot especially at his age.

Compbox must not count jabs to the body because if they did, that number would be higher. I counted I think 11 punches to the body in the 2nd fight.

But maybe he's realised that, at nearly 37 years old, it isn't going to work for him any more.

I'm glad he's still ambitious enough to want to try a new approach, and very interested to see who is going to be training him from now on.
Cosign this. Not sure it’ll make any difference at this point tho.
