This is no different from the Wilder case.
Pretend to want the top guy with multiple titles in the division.
Then when offered 10x your average purse,
you and your incredibly disgusting fans would start screaming,
"IT'S A LOWBALL OFFER!"
Instead of wondering why your uncle Al can't offer that kind of money.Comment

They are literally no one in context of the heavyweight scene and not better than millers guys either.
All of them are basic journeymen.Comment

Well his trainer confirmed he was offered between $7m-$8m and five weeks would have been fine to get ready.
So its a clear duck. The thing is I don't think it was Ortiz who made that call. I think it was who was advising him.
They obviously whispered in his ear saying $8m was not a good offer. If they offered $20m I don't think it would of made any difference. His advisors don't want the fight.Comment

He's been knocked out by Wilder
He's not American and undefeated
The fight will not do as well as AJ vs Miller
He Should be happy with 5m he'd probably have to fight 3 times to match that vs anyone elseComment

Apparently Hearn thinks he does. Since reports are that he offered Ortiz more than $5 million.Comment
