GGG beat everyone they put in front of him and Canelo twice. Most guys wouldn't fight him. Anyone who thinks he's not the best has no clue about Boxing

GGG is on a retirement tour. I said this months ago. He's no longer the fighter he used to be. He's done. I don't care what he does going forward. That's why.

Of course to YOU, his promoter, he's undefeated.

Although in fairness to GGG & Tommy both marks against him are widely considered to be disputed with judges going 1-1-1 & fan consensus being GGG won in the first fight & while coming up short 0-2-1 with the judges the fan consensus was still that GGG won the 2nd fight. So he's not being THAT standard promoter bs-ish with these remarks I'd argue despite these remarks sounding like standard promoter bs.

Most trainers and boxers felt Cabelo won the 2nd fight. I see a lot of fans ignore defense and body punches for some crazy reason?

Effective Aggresion - Lands punches and avoids them

Ring Generalship - Forces his will and controls fight

DEFENSE - Slip punches, block then, etc

Hard and CLEAN punches - Ill take combos, body punching, power shots over a back footed jabber all day!

GGG changed his MexiCAN Style and refused to exchange. How many times you see GGG fight backwards??

Defense?? Canelo went clubbing afterwords while GGG went to the hospital

Hard clean punchea. Ggg landed 7 body punches. Threw almost zero combos. He was a 1 trick pony. His jab is GREAT and he has a HELL of a chin and that is what kept him in the fight.

Either way they were both close enough that GGG has an argument he deserved to win which is more or less what Tommy L is saying.

For the record I had the first fight 6-6 even & the second fight 7-5 GGG. But again lotsa close rounds so any decision woulda been within the realm of reasonable to me.

I thought Canelo's slickness in the first fight was exceptional I just think his gas tank was poor so it made the fight closer than it shoulda been too often. When Canelo was on he was making GGG look ordinary he just slowed down too much. In the 2nd fight I thought the jab of GGG was the most consistent thing in the fight & was the edge in the close rounds for me.
