Either way they were both close enough that GGG has an argument he deserved to win which is more or less what Tommy L is saying.

For the record I had the first fight 6-6 even & the second fight 7-5 GGG. But again lotsa close rounds so any decision woulda been within the realm of reasonable to me.

I thought Canelo's slickness in the first fight was exceptional I just think his gas tank was poor so it made the fight closer than it shoulda been too often. When Canelo was on he was making GGG look ordinary he just slowed down too much. In the 2nd fight I thought the jab of GGG was the most consistent thing in the fight & was the edge in the close rounds for me.

if you had the first fight draw, but scored the second fight for G..... then you REALLY needed him to win the rematch

Sometimes I think a KO is possible, but most of the time I just lean towards thinking Canelo can put the best of both sides of himself together, the aggression & the elusive, & win clearly & without any argument or dispute in the 3rd fight.

Then again I don't think its crazy to think it'll be another close fight. Cuz the reality is outside of that one nutty scorecard in the first fight these guys are super close competitively with each other & idk if we should expect that to change unless GGG just gets old on fight night. I definitely don't think Canelo has distanced himself as THAT superior from GGG in the ring despite showing glances of superiority in small pockets here & there.

Yea f#cking hell man GGG is driving me crazy with not going to Canelo's body. Thats a classic tactic to use on a guy with stamina issues. Abel is a ****** genius I think. Guy is obviously a really good trainer, but the body attack just seems so damn obvious yet he's not doing it for some reason.

I remember someone saying after the first fight that it'd been ****** for GGG to do that cuz he'd have gotten hit more or some such wonky logic, but sh^t man GGG got hit a ton in the 2nd fight & he still didn't go to the damn body very much.

Man I'd be on some Mickey old school sh^t in the Rocky movie trying to get GGG thinking about attacking the body more cuz it'll get Canelo less active sooner or later & while GGG might be getting hit more early the payout will come with that approach cuz thats one of the glaring weaknesses in Canelo. Stamina issues just don't go away typically.

it was a ridiculous post..... and you have had a picture painted for you on more than one occasion explaining exactly why Golovkin did not work the body in either of those fights, nor with Jacobs

so why are you still dumb ?

world-class fighters are much better at distance control than the flat-footed plodders that G used to knock out..... Golovkin did not suddenly "get old", he got in there with higher caliber opponents

No I get a hard time because you can't read. I said flat out in that post I know nothing about Rolls and now several days or a week later you're having a Shelock moment. I did say Rolls is a better fighter than Fielding. Much better don't recall saying that. In any event he's better than the guy that froze against Canelo.
