Agree or disagree on whether Golovkin deserved the nod in one or both of the fights there really is no justification for the Rolls fight - unless it's somehow possible to prove that they went down the entire list of more proven and/or better known fighters and were knocked back on the best offer DAZN were willing to make.

What's more puzzling to me is who chose this fight and if it was GGG rather than DAZN who is in charge of choosing his opponents why DAZN signed off on it... perhaps they've given him a ridiculous amount of latitude in his contract, but this would seem like a guaranteed loss maker.

I do believed GGG beat Canelo twice besides Saul was a cheat like many Mexicans JMM, Nery, Margarito, Chavez Jr.

Golovkin is the peoples champion. Canelo is the champion of PEDS and corruption.

From what I remember, DAZN, when they announced the GGG agreement, mentioned that his first fight wasn't expected to be against anyone of note. I guess they threw him a tune up of some sort. If I were him, I wouldn't fight any threats, either. Why take a harder fight for the same money?

Rematch was anticipating. All the GGG fans believed Canelo was roided in the first fight and that’s why Canelo did less damage to GGG than the 2nd! Lol

Canelo is the PPV star. But GGG won the first one and lost the second? Pacman and AJ are PPV starlets!

Loeffler is right, GGG beat Canelo both fights, at worst a draw the second fight, no way Canelo won that rematch, especially not the 12th round

Of course to YOU, his promoter, he's undefeated.

Although in fairness to GGG & Tommy both marks against him are widely considered to be disputed with judges going 1-1-1 & fan consensus being GGG won in the first fight & while coming up short 0-2-1 with the judges the fan consensus was still that GGG won the 2nd fight. So he's not being THAT standard promoter bs-ish with these remarks I'd argue despite these remarks sounding like standard promoter bs.

Golovkin said in an interview DAZN wanted Rolls because they want to increase their presence in the Canadian market.
