A promoter saying Danny Jacobs is #1 P4P if he beats Canelo is a shameless lie. I don't know why people on NSB act like they are oblivious as to what promoters do. It's really fking weird.

I say allow Byrd to be appointed for the Canelo fight, to hell with pretences. And I hope Danny drops Canelo 5 times and Byrd's score will be 120-108 for Canelo. The pound for pound debate is like arguing whether or not King Kong or Godzilla would win in a fight. We could also debate if Mike Tyson could beat Jack Johnson. Nobody is ever wrong and nobody is ever right; which is amazing because people get so passionate about it.

I know, right?? Last year after the super series, I said I had Oleksandr Usyk at #2 on my personal P4P list, and there were a few people who wanted me banned from even watching boxing. Kind of makes me giggle. How can you get so riled up over peoples opinions? So trivial.

Now being passionate about the important stuff I get. The kind of thing that actually matters in making lives better. Like you know, is Star Wars better than Star Trek, or the Marvel VS. DC argument.

I insult P4P logic & standard P4P criteria on the regular cuz I think the whole concept of P4P is pretty bs as its considered these days, but some mfers talk about P4P sh^t like its regular rankings & a W over the #1 guy gets you #1 which is even nuttier wtf.

P4P is about being or should be about being as close to perfection as one can get as a boxer with proven high level results in your current weight class that your skills would be dangerous for guys in any other division if you happened to be naturally that weight. And that gets you considered & discussed as a P4P guy not just W's over highly ranked guys. P4P rankings should be more fickle with bad performances & less about cumulative results then they currently are.

That's a statement of opinion. You're making a lot out of very little which makes it seem like you have an agenda rather than judging the situation according to what the facts actually are. "Shameless lie" comes across as fairly over the top.

The state of NSB is that no matter how ridiculous the argument, there's people here supporting it because they choose to serve some promoter or fighter. It was amusing when it was just a few weirdos but now it's the norm to speak complete bullshyt and attack common sense as "bias".

Promoters are salesman but these fans aren't mature enough to understand what that means. They see promoters as leaders. It's so damn strange.
