Garcia gets champion emeritus status after making 1 defense? Seems a bit ridiculous. When does that **** run out anyways? When you die? Could he come back at 50 and challenge for a belt? Does Vitali still have champion emeritus status as well? Could he come right back and go for his old belt?

Anyways, will be interesting to see if Abdullaev fancies a shot against Campbell. If not, I have to think Haney will take it, since he just signed with Matchroom. Both fights are interesting, the Haney fight moreso. Garcia still does a fight by fight deal, right? Will be interesting to see what he can drum up at 140. These sanctioning body rankings are completely bogus. Teofimo is ranked well above Haney and one spot above Abdullaev on BoxRec. He's also ranked higher than either fighter by TBRB, Ring Magazine, ESPN.com and every other independent rankings out there.

If Bob manages to swing Teo vs Campbell for the belt - here's my prediction (take note and give me a good beyatching down the road if I'm wrong).

- Teo wins...then vacates and goes to 140 on the basis of (genuine) inability to stay at 135
