Like I said before I don’t see Mikey stepping down from 147 to 135. Hopefully Campbell and Lopez gets it on. The winner can then unify with Loma/Commey winner.

Everybody is saying they want Luke Campbell to fight Teofimo Lopez for the Vacant, But isn't the rule they ask the top 2 ranked to fight for the vacant title? if either says no they go to #3, #4, #5 etc.?
So it looks like Luke Campbell VS Z. Abdullaev and if either says no (They won't because this is their best chance to win a title) then they ask Devin Haney, then if 2 of the 3 say no, then Lopez gets his chance.

Couple of thoughts:
- Good news. Mikey dropping the belt opens things up for Cambell vs whoever and for things to work out faster.
- Mikey making 135 would have been a disaster coming down from 147, he would have been drained and not able to perform like he used to, it wouldn't be prime 135 Mikey any more. Whoever one fancies in prime 135 Mikey vs Loma, a drained 135 Mikey vs Loma wouldn't be the same fight.
- for Cambell vs Teo to happen, then Teo has to skip over Abdullaev and Haney somehow. Easy enough with strings pulled and step-aside money etc, but lets not forget Teo has his own problems right now. He was open that in making weight for Tatli his body was saying a big No to 135, and he couldn't see himself making 135 until the end of the year. Also the problems in his camp he reported that needed to get sorted out, Teo is going to have increasing difficulty staying as effective at 135 as we have seen to date. Assuming he manages to stay at 135 for Campbell, the weight could get to him, and lets say he wins, he then goes in vs Loma with even greater difficulty at the weight. I don't think Teo can do it.
- so my bet is Haney signs on with DAZN and Cambell vs Haney happening, with Abdullaev thrown a bone of some description (Teo going to 140 before year-end).
As an aside, Haney is 18 months younger than Teo. His body won't last 135 much longer either, but absent Haney reporting difficulties with 135 like Teo is, he can probably make it to Loma at 135 at the weight easier than Teo can. Haney vs Cambell would be a good fight, Campbell is no slouch, and neither is Haney.Comment

Teofimo beat Tatli and those ratings are not updated so He actually can become #3 already which indeed means step-aside fee or simple announcement of the fight to force WBC.
Nobody bribes IBF now. You thought about WBA?Comment

- Teo wins...then vacates and goes to 140 on the basis of (genuine) inability to stay at 135Comment

He defended his crap trinkets against Crolla, isn't he allowed a voluntary? Do voluntary bouts need a belt too?Comment
