Ortiz is not applying for a position at Widget Industries, his salary history is not relevant. Ortiz in this case is a commodity and his value is what the market will bear. Ortiz is the overwhelming fan’s choice in every poll I’ve seen and should be paid accordingly. I honestly do not see this as a difficult concept unless you are a fan of a particular promoter. Hearn wants Hunter because it maximizes his profit. Probably, although I personally would disagree, Hearn sees Ortiz as the greater threat to upset Joshua.

We don't know what the offer is/was. If it's 6.5 mil or thereabouts then my guess is Ortiz can't take it for another reason other than it's a "lowball" offer.

No, that's wrong. A NDA is just a legally binding agreement not to disclose something. You don't need to pay somebody a fee to make a NDA with them.

Legally binding means broner signed the contact to agree to a non disclosure. I highly doubt he would sign a NDA. You just can't send somebody a NDA, they have to agree to it.

This dude just fought for 500K last year and that was his career high. A week after the report that his team won't allow him to take the fight he says they not serious lowballed me without countering or without telling the public the amount.
