As the offers get better and better and the more the fight seems imminent...suddenly wilder doesn’t want to fight. As for Canelo, he got first crack at the lineal middleweight title over GGG not because he earned it, but because he's a Mexican cash cow. Then after getting the lineal middleweight title, he ducked GGG for years, and fought welterweights and C-level guys at a 155 catchweight despite being the lineal middleweight champion.

Get it? The lineal middleweight champion refused to face the real champion of the division until he was old. And all that time, the lineal middleweight champion refused to fight at middleweight. In his prime. Even though he walks around at 185-190 pounds.

GGG walks around at 170-180. He's 37 years old. He has no belts now because Canelo ducked him until he was old, then got an A-side decision over him. GGG may move up to 168 soon, so he's trying out 164 vs someone who fights at 168, so it will be easier for them too. He is not a champion at 168, and this fight is meaningless, so it really makes no difference.

You guys are too much man. When your man damages the sport, you still support him, but you wait for GGG to do anything 1/10 as bad so you can try to justify your own bias towards Canelo by telling yourselves "well GGG is just as bad so I guess I was right to support to Canelo" or something along those lines. But it's a lie.
