I agree with Roy. That was a poor display of sportsmanship on Amir Khan's part. The one thing that boxing fans have always admired about Khan was his fighting spirit.

Unfortunately, that spirit was broken on Saturday night. He not only owes Terence Crawford an apology but us boxing fans and those who believe him one as well.

He should lose some of his purse. If i turn up to work and decide to quit midway through i wouldnt get paid. Hes paid to fight, i think people lose track of how much these guys get paid

Roy is right. It makes me think of that fight he had with Montell Griffin. Amir took advantage of that low blow to save himself from a brutal KO. The only question I have is did he think it would be declared intentional and he would get the win or did he know that it would go on his record as a TKO?

I'll give Khan a tiny bit of credit by saying, at least he tried to style it out with the low blow, rather than simply quitting like Lomachenkos victims. But what I find really funny, is how much heat Khans getting for quitting compared to others. Is it because he's lying?

Or is it really because we all just love seeing him do the bambi dance and all its variants, before getting KO'd lol.

No need to apologize if you are getting hammered and quit knowing you can’t possibly win IF you own up to it and are honest about it with your opponent and the fans. But lying about it disrespects the fans and the other fighter.
