Jacobs is a really a SMW but knows he doesn't have the power for that division so drains himself himself to MW.

Canelo is easily winning this. KO or stoppage late on.

But the IBF Rehydration clause is for the morning after the weigh in, the fighter can then continue to rehydrate for the rest of the day of the fight and enter the ring above 170

Canelo's clause means Jacobs cant enter the ring above above 170

        It's a big difference.

            You are.

Canelo's clause is nothing to do with IBF. It's his own stipulation that means Jacobs can't get in the ring above 170.

The IBF clause is not in place in this fight, it's a unification. Even if it was, it's better for Jacobs than the clause Canelo has put in, because he would only have to weigh in less than 170 on the morning after, then could continue rehydrating.

This is totally false. The rehydration clause in the contract says that both fighters cannot weigh more than 170 on the morning of the fight, not in the ring. You think Canelo wants to be forced to be below below 170 on fight night? He weighed 172 in the ring against Trout and that was at 154.

                  Canelo is looking beefy..

Serious point though, Canelo's team must have good scientists working with them to figure out weigh-in related stuff over the years, some very shrewd contracts, this rehydration clause will be a killer

Definitely looking thin, but his face still doesn't have that skeleton look to it. It still looks healthy. I can't imagine he stays at 160 after this fight. That has to take a toll on your body in yours 30s.
