There is no way this fight isn't going to happen. Both guys make the most possible money by fighting the other guy. DAZN has invested heavily in both fighter so there will be a big push for it to happen. Then there is the matter of pride. Both guys want a definite victory over the other man.

Why do people keep calling this a comeback fight? What is he coming back from? He wasn't injured. He fought Canelo & Vanes 8 months apart & nobody called that a comeback fight. This fight in June will only be a 9 month layoff.

People are honestly ******ed if they think that Canelo has any say of whether this fight happens next or not.

It's going to happen next because that was part of Golovkin's contract with DAZN. It was a tuneup followed by a Canelo fight.

This notion that Canelo is pulling a "power move" is the most laughable thing I've ever heard. Canelo will do as DAZN instructs.

I think DAZN will give Canelo some wiggle room to settle in, but ultimately when GGG is on the horizon, they'll put a lot of pressure on Canelo and DLH to deliver a super fight. The only super fight for Canelo is GGG and I doubt they would want to wait for another couple of years for the third fight to happen. Its called ROI, kids.
