Sky’s boxing content has been disgraceful this year.

Well, damn near all the top Sky and BT Sports fighters are fighting in America now so no surprise. Not really sure how good the Whyte/Rivas undercard will be to be honest. Hearn is trying to put quite a few big names on the Joshua/Miller card.

Maybe he puts Yafai in a title defense on the UC?

Probably would but as a boxing fan I know it’s a crap fight.

I dunno it’s difficult. It looks like the golden age to be a boxer assigned to a network with a powerful promoter.

In my head the line in the sand was defo when Gary Russell Jr knocked over one of the Hyland bros and reportedly got paid a million dollars.

I’m sure if you asked Hyland he’d have laughed and he was presumably being paid Tesco coupons for the same fight

That is unfortunate because to be honest...Sky Sports has the BEST Production when it comes to covering boxing

We should be demanding good undercards week in week out. The standard of televised boxing is so low in the UK that anything semi-decent is now considered PPV worthy.
Simple answer is don't watch. If enough people don't watch they'll be forced to respond.

Hearn said on the Whyte/Rivas undercard he wants Okolie v Lebedev and Allen v Price.

Allen vs Price? Meh, but seems like Allen for some reason has some sort of following.

Okolie vs Lebedev would be nice. Like that fight, though it may be tough to watch lol.

I think Yafai will get his own card in June, another farcical regular card. I'm done with him at this point. What Hearn is saying for Whyte/Rivas is actually good, no need for another bore of a Yafai fight added.

To be fair, they wanted the Chocolatito fight but he got hurt.

Yafai's reign has been underwhelming no doubt, but let's see what Hearn has in store for the UC.

Like Allen/Price does nothing for me, but I know both fighters have solid fan bases so it's fine.

Really like the Okolie/Lebedev match up on paper...Though it is likely to be a stinker. I really don't care about that, it's a quality match up either way, what happens in the ring is a crap shoot.

Maybe put Buatsi on the UC?

Theres going to be 2 UK cards in July. The fights being mentioned split between them are

                    Okolie vs Lebedev
                    Chisora vs Parker
                    Charlie Edwards unification
                    Allen vs Price
Martin Ward vs Stephen Smith (if Ward doesn't get the Garcia fight)

Yafai, Hearn said the unification fight between him and Nietes was made for this coming Fridays card, but Yafai hurt his hand. Nietes dumped the belt after. I don't know, its always something. So frustrating
