Inside fighting Loma would get caught several times...if Pedraza was able to murk his face a bit. Barrera had fast reflexes against Hamed. Loma wins. Barrera could make it a brawl, and a harder hitter than Pedraza or Salido. Got Loma by MD, but probably UD. PAC was just too strong for Barrera, and the Top Rank juicing for no advanced testing back then made PAC look good. -

If Pac was juicing then following your logic so was Barerra and every other fighter that moved up. Floyd, Holyfield, Leonard, Hearns, Canelo, Marquez, Duran and a host of other smaller fighters. How about guys like Marciano. How could a small heavyweight be so effective unless he was juiced. Sugar Ray Robinson moved up Was he juiced? How about Henry Armstrong? Don't you defend Canelo who actually failed a drug test as being clean??Inside fighting Loma would get caught several times...if Pedraza was able to murk his face a bit. I dunno.
I have a lot of respect for past greats. I've tried to think about these types of questions, cause they are popping up a bit now regarding Loma, and I just don't know.
I think I will probably need to wait until he has achieved more - perhaps even until after he has retired - before making comparisons (positive or negative) to past legends.Comment
