Arum did not kill anything. You watch any Fox or Showtime broadcast and they don't even mention Crawford's name. In fact they act like he does not even exist.


Someone remind me when the PBC side have ever mentioned Loma or Crawford as potential opponents for Mikey/Tank or Spence. The only time they talk about them, it is to discredit them as possible opponents.


You guys are acting like Arum is making the fight not happen now. Arum is the only damn one talking about those potential fights and why they should happen. Ellerbe only talks as to why fights are not going to happen.

They mention Spence because they need him.

When PBC talks about Middleweights they mention Canelo because they need him for Charlo.

When PBC talks HW they mention Joshua & Fury

They all do it.

You don't see Top Rank mentioning Browne when they talk light heavies because they don't need him

Those high paid athletes generate billions for outside parties that's why they get what they get. It's not necessarily because of love for them. Look at Lebron James. Thing is, right now, if Haymon makes Spence/Porter, Thurman/Pac, Broner/Garcia, or anybody else....nobody's gonna talk about a Crawford/Spence fight.

Haymon has ALL of the pieces to make THE biggest fights at 140-154, and what does Arum have? He has fighters, but it's not THE guys that people wanna see.

His fighters are more so pushed and shoved down the public's throats, but Haymon's guy are pretty much selling themselves to the public.

Promoters don't train fighters and this don't build Fighters. Besides, Bob arum has a match maker on the payroll. Further, think of the amount of times you have heard that a top-rank fighter is fighting someone that Bob didn't want them to fight.
