These are the facts. Arum is deliberately sabotaging the negotiations before they begin so he can go back and say he tried to make the fight.

If we’re looking to elevate the sport, everyone has to make a concerted effort to do that and think of the big picture. They don’t happen just because Bob Arum jumps up and screams and yells because he wakes up one day and realizes, ‘I can’t deliver my kid a big fight.’

Crawford is in a bad position,and blame him and his team for signing another contract with TR again knowing well it will be difficult to make the fights he wants.

The fact of the matter is becoming undisputed at welterweight is the goal and haymon can do all the in house fighting he wants but if spence doesn't fight crawford he won't be considered the best.

Arum did not kill anything. You watch any Fox or Showtime broadcast and they don't even mention Crawford's name. In fact they act like he does not even exist.


Someone remind me when the PBC side have ever mentioned Loma or Crawford as potential opponents for Mikey/Tank or Spence. The only time they talk about them, it is to discredit them as possible opponents.

Well Boxing Fans he comes the battle of the promoters. Arum moves Fury away from the Wilder fight. Now Haymon will move Spence away from the Crawford fight. Although, Leonard is correct in saying this fight does not have the drawing power. The diehard fans are who keep boxing alive. Crawford should look to fight the best possible name. How about Crawford vs Loma at 140.

But I also agree with Bob, that pbc world in boxing is not good for boxing. Top pbc fighters are most likely fighting soft touch

Yeah, those are his 2 best options not connected with PBC. Unless somehow Haymon works with Arum on agreeing on a co-promotion fight, I think the Brook fight is next for the fall than Vargas in early 2020.
