If Khan was a realist rather than a fantasist he coud have been a very good boxer. In what world do you fight 2 bums (and struggle with one) and then hope to have a chance against Crawford?

You got to blame Crawford for the fight too - like I keep saying he took an easy low-risk fight against a guy who had been retired for 2 years. Wilder did the same thing with Fury and it backfired on him too...

Hatton beat kostya, Castillo, gave mayweather a good fight and went out on his shield.

You can't compare Hatton to Khan.

Can you imagine Ricky Hatton telling the ref he can't continue? I can't see it. Ricky Hatton would be telling the ref, "he's going to have to kill me ref, keep me in this fight."

Khan has lost any illusion of credibility for the likes of Danny, Porter etc - it was remarkable that Khan could be sold as credible for Crawford in the first place, nobody would try sell it again.

But Khan is right, there are still fights there for him as he's still got a known name to trade.

I can see Broner liking a Khan fight as he could make himself appear credible again, and Khan would show up for the money.

Horn too - Khan could go down under and pick up a nice payday, meantime the hornet buys some momentum for himself too.

        Still paydays there for Khan.

Khan would be an idiot to fight on.I understand by being so thoroughly out boxed and out every thing the reaction is normal .He must understand however that even average fighters like Algieri and Vargas two low level operators would be in with a shot to beat him as both had very close fights with him in recent times.

He would be doing his health and the few remaining supporters a favour if he did the right thing and retired he will only get more beatings, he now needs saving from himself!

Nothing worse than a delusional aging Boxer....

Khan went down on the 1st significant punch Crawford landed. That should tell him all he needs to know about what he has left.

At least Lamont Peterson was a realist. Even he has more left than Khan and he retired. He was smart enough to know that you can feel great physically, but when you start getting hurt and go down from punches that you probably wouldn't have before, it's about time to hang em up.

Time's up Khan. Just risking his long-term health at this point.

Man people need to give khan a break. Khan isn’t the type of fighter who would out right quit.

He was getting thrashed by Garcia and had to be stopped by the ref.

He even was fighting back with maidana when maidana had him on ***** Street. He was in a way worser shape in those fights.
