Chávez JR is a joke, Canelo won easily all the rounds against him.

GGG would be too much for Martínez GGG know how to cut the ring and Martínez never had good chin.
I like Martinez a lot. He's a true warrior and a credit to boxing but I agree with you. Chavez never was a good fighter. Martinez is too small and he would get stopped.

Hopkins would do the same to GGG.

I can't see Sergio giving him too much trouble. He's never had too much trouble with a guy who moved well - actually those are generally the easiest fights for him. Golovkin respects power and counterpunching.

You can use Matthew Macklin as a measuring stick, they both fought him like 6 months apart.

          we have already seen it

Martinez had speed, movement, and he was slick

Martinez wins over Pavlik and Williams are better than any Golovkin win, and he had the right style to offset a flat-footed puncher

I go with the better, more-proven, Martinez
Saunders has been ducking ggg his whole career. If you think otherwise you're a moron. GGG at 33 stops martinez in 3 rds. GGG at 37 stops him in 6 rds. GGG at 37 is getting robbed against p4p fighters 10 years his senior.

No it won't and you over estimate martinez as a boxer. GGG will have no problem with him. If you struggle with welterwights and cintron you're not beating ggg. Martinez has so many holes in his games including his defense. You bringing up williams to shows he can beat ggg show you don't know boxing. And Beating jacobs is a much better win than 147 lb williams. LMAO. And pavlik would get stopped by jacobs.

That wasn’t a prime Chavez jr who fought Carlos Molina, stop the lie!

Prime Chavez jr is when he beat Prime Andy Lee and nearly stopped Martínez!

Canelo fought Chavez jr at a catch weight of 164 when Chavez wanted it at 168 but fought Fielding at 168, he fought a washed up and zombified Chavez jr who sacrificed his own brain mass to make the weight so bad that he allowed **********s to rob him!

Canelo isn’t known for having fast feet and yet in the first fight he was outboxing ggg with footwork and using the ring and only got on the ropes when he chose to yet you think Martínez who has superior foot speed to Canelo will be allowing ggg to cut the ring effectively! Not a chance!

            Maravilla would’ve took ggg
to school and ended the HBO hype machine before it even started just like Pirog would’ve if he’d never had a career ending injury!

Marevlla toys with GGG for a few rds before putting a thudding end to GGG's misery via 9th rd ko.

GGG gradually breaks Martinez down and stops him in the second half.

For those saying Martinez, I want a breakdown of how you think he would beat and possibly stop G.

                      Here's how I see it.

Prime Martinez was always able to out-jab ortho fighters. Since that's GGG's only tool for keeping fighters with power off him (Canelo, Lemieux), he wouldn't be able to keep Martinez from landing. Martinez' pace is more consistent than Canelo's so he could fight for all of the round. Martinez would trade and GGG just doesn't move his head enough to avoid those awkward angle counters Martinez can throw.

All of that adds up to fast Martinez start with the jabs, a mid-fight surge with GGG scoring a KD, and then a late fight beatdown from Martinez and a UD a-la Pavlik.

Edit: to be fair this isn't a breakdown of a stoppage, as you asked. The man took Canelo bombs without getting dropped. Respect to GGG in that area. It would be doubtful that Martinez would get a KO outside of a monster PWill bomb.
