Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan - CompuBox Punch Stats

In a bruising performance, WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford landed 50% of his power punches on Amir Khan, before the fight was waved off in the sixth round, following a low blow which Khan claimed afterwards had left him unable to continue any further.

Khan looked awful from the opening bell. Footwork was sloppy at best, was pushing his punches with no kinda steam on them while lunging in. Last but not least he seems to have finally lost his hand speed which was the only thing that he really had to rely on. Every punch he took seemed to hurt him (kinda reminded me of cottos last fight)
    never mind his paper jaw.

I've probably been one of the biggest Khan haters ever & I've got to admit I honestly felt a bit sad to seem him so shot. I was rooting for Bud all the way But I thought Khan was at least going to have some successful early rounds to make it interesting. I didn't see not one textbook Khan flurry. There were flashes of 2 & 3 punch combos but they either didn't land or had nothing on them.

I honestly think he's gonna call it a day. He got overpaid to be a punching bag and showed nothing that would make anyone believe he could give anyone worth a damn any problems

Its not that emotional, the guy is giving a very thorough explanation of what Khans deficiencies were last night. It was clear as day he has lost a step or two at least he gave it some effort didn't just lay down after first solid punch landed.
