Margarito was far from having his ass handed to him in that fight. It could've gone either way at the time of the premature stoppage, and certainly Margarito seemed on the verge of winning the UD with his superior stamina.

I've always said he was a good fighter, very over-looked for his boxing style. In the fashion of Winky. I remember Santos once said he tried to make a fight with Winky but Winkys people didn't want the fight, supposedly it would have been an ugle fight, which i aggree but Santos at the time was undefeated.

His fight with a tough Campas was impressive, i seen that one again a few months ago, and though the first time i seen this fight i thought it was borring due to Santos style of not engaging in fighting, but when i reviewed the fight again a few months ago i saw a lot of skills shown by Santos. I've seen a few of his fights so i know what he is capable of and he is no push over. The way he fought Margarito really surprised me.
