What is your evaluation of Canelo's move, when he chose to give up WBC belt rather than fight Golovkin, who at the time was not far removed from his prime and didn't show signs of decline yet? The same question about Sergio Martinez not giving GGG a title shot and fighting Cotto instead...

The fighters in question had either achieved more than Lopez has, or the fights were clearly jokes. I mean Spinks had won a title eliminator FFS, and The McGregor fight was a disgusting farce, and every true boxing fan said so.

100 % coward moves. Especially with Canelo. I'll give Martinez somewhat of a pass because of his injury. Canelo b****ed out and waited out GGGs prime until he felt it was safe.

Another point Martinez isn't a big Middleweight. Canelo other than his height is as big or bigger when you take into a count his bone structure. Martinez fought as a Welterweight, JM and Middleweight. When he fought Chavez he repotedly weighed 167 in the ring. I agree Martinez gets a pass for not taking on Golovkin because of his injuries and Golovkin being too dangerous. It was a duck IMO. However its hard to imagine a healthy in his prime Martinez ducking Golovkin.
