    For way less money too.

Sometimes you gotta take a risk, you know?
Sanders was considered a journeyman and had nothing to lose.. Ortiz, Whyte is not journeyman that will take fight on short notice to derail big money fights they can get down the road

Fair. But maybe they will never get the chance. A lot of plans get derailed even doing everything right.

Vitali took Lewis on 2 weeks notice.

I've seen Otto fight and he would get sparked inside three rounds. They better find a top 10 fighter for AJ.

For Ortiz that has never earned a million bucks in a fight, 6.5m and a chance to fight for 3 belts should be enough incentive...and if you are an athlete you need to always be in tip top shape, just like Mayweather... the reason Ortiz wouldn’t take this fight is because he is currently juiced up...and he knows he would get caught same reason Millers best buddy Kownacki declined the fight.

Was Vitali training for anyone else at the time? Lewis was supposed to be fighting Kirk Johnson wasn’t he (if I remember correctly). Had the feeling that Lewis wasn’t taking that fight seriously and hadn’t trained well.

I remember watching that fight on HBO in my living room. Sanders never looked completely fit but his handspeed was something unreal. He threw those combos right down the middle and Wladimir never knew what hit him.

Ortiz is a coward.. Nobody needs him anymore.
He can continue to hide, no one gives a fcck anymore.
Any one brave enough to step in is good enough, the show must go on.

This is an I fixation that we have nothing but cowards in the HW division.
They are all claiming not ready but have been shouting all year round for a title shot.

most of these guys claiming 6 weeks is not enough. Give them one year to train, they will still be KOed.
                      It's just an excuse.
Just like you stated, sanders KO wlad with less than 4weeks training.

Many of these so called top guys are on PED tbh.
