This is a crap fight for Mr. Gary.
Kiko has been beat up one side and down the other. It’s a pure mismatch. Russ needs to fight somebody with credibility; I.e. like Leo, Frampy, Warrington, and on and on.

I don't think we will see it. Apparently he turned down a unification with LSC on three different occasions according to some twitter "insider". If that is true, oh well, stick a fork in him. It seems his entire mission was to win a strap, and then sit on it.

What sucks though is it feels like he has lost all his lustre. Even right after he lost to Loma at least he bounced back fighting, then won a strap. Now it seems like he does not want to take any chances.

After losing that fight, the plan seems to be to have a strap and earn as much as he can doing the least he can.

He got $1.4 mil to fight Diaz, so that's working out nicely for him.
