Wonder if Mr. Hunter has put any of that confidence into a bet at the Vegas window?

Yeah, I did not think so.

Crawford wins by TKO. for what it is worth, I give Khan more credit than most: I think the ref stops it with Khan still on his feet. Getting pummeled and unable to do a freaking thing, but on his feet. I also think Khan will have a nice start to the fight. Then the rest of the bout will happen.

I think Khan has a chance if he sticks to pure boxing and stays focused, something he hasn't been able to do in the past.

I'm pleased that Hunter is saying this so come Sunday there can be few excuses. He say's in effect that Khan has matured and this makes him a better fighter, O.K.

I will repeat, this is a mismatch and Khan will show in this fight why I am not a fan.His lack of ability at top level will be clear to see as will his deluded over all out look on himself as a top fighter. Amir Khan is a second level fighter who hits the floor at the drop of a hat.Talk of him being a P4P fighter are just ridiculous .The people around him surprising don't see how bad he actually is and worryingly in a recent interview he was so sure Jacobs and Canelo had already fought they had to stop the interview for him to check Google.

I hope he comes out of this O.K. and my only positive thoughts are that Bud doesn't hit with the same ferocity as Canelo but will give Khan a sustained beating until someone has the sense to realise Khan simply doesn't belong in there.

Crawford is just too much of a professional to lose this fight. Khan will come to fight the way he did with Alexander but Crawford will get him one way or another.

The more they try to hype this fight as competitive the less I'm inclined to believe them. Most people saying Khan will be competitive the first 3 rounds and then the tide will turn. Sticking my neck out --- Crawford stops Khan inside 3.

As you say, and we know, you're not a fan. I think you're a little harsh on his overall ability. His track record is pretty good with wins over Alexander and Maidana when they were something.
But his hand speed is the only standout attribute he has. Take away his hand speed and what's left?
Interesting what you said about the Canelo-Jacobs fight - not good to hear.

These fights you talk about were along ,long time ago and the impressive victory ,Khan's best was ten years ago at a lower weight.Alexander had been twice beaten by the time Khan wanted him ,once badly.

I tried with Khan but after the 54 second Prescott blow out he was very carefully matched to his limits. His 'speed' as you mentioned sometimes looks impressive but his lack of overall IQ takes that at times to a disadvantage as he doesn't know when to close up and shut it down.As in Adam Booth's terminology (not about Khan) states he gets too greedy.

Listen the truth is the kid talks absolute bollocks and is way above his station but I would like to see him do O.K. I just don't think he will.Bud will negate his speed and work him out in no time and as you rightly say once that's gone there's nothing left.
