You’ll feel awesome if Khan wins. And if not, oh well. A couple hundred bucks won’t kill you.
Crawford is definitely not the guy I would pick Khan to defeat, but longshot bets are longshot bets.Comment

It may FEEL like it would be a good bet because he was once a very competent fighter. But, if you look at how inactive the guy has been (2 fights in 3 years), the fact that his last MEANINGFUL win was 8 years ago, it's a waste of $200.
In boxing, the risky bets you want to take are on the prospects who you feel will shock everyone and be future greats. Betting on old, washed-up stars is for suckers. Don't do it.Last edited by Redd Foxx; 04-18-2019, 09:18 PM.Comment

It's a mistake.
That said, for all Crawford's belts, he's never proven that he's an elite fighter when it comes to opposition. He hasn't beaten any elite fighters or really top quality fighters. Are Postol or Gamboa any better than Khan? Gamboa maybe not not with that size disadvantage.
The problem is Khan isn't a top fighter, never was and certainly isn't in 2019. Khan was just a solid world level fighter in his prime, which was about around 2010-2011. He looked very faded in his last fight.
If Crawford even struggles with him, it's not going to be a good look, especially when his resume is pretty thin already.Comment
