IMO Shields isn't even that good of a boxer tbh.. It's more so a lack of competition at her weight.

Hammer was really KO'ed by Sophie Mathis and got gifted a NC ruling imo and outside of that infamous jab, always did more holding than punching.. So a it turns out even Hammer wasn't really as good as advertised.

Shields may beat up some smaller dudes but don't see her beating most averaged size athletic males once she get's grabbed, fights over for her.

Street fights are a lot different than boxing. It is why 7/10 a boxer wouldn't stand much of a chance against a MMA fighter in a street fight once kicks and grappling is involved..

Hammers reflexes were woeful in relation to Shields and Shields are woeful in relation to almost any decent male, don't even have to be fighters.

That's very true. I agree. However, remember that the first blows to land in a street fight are fist punches. Followed by kicks, grappling and wrestling to the ground.

I had nothing but praise for Claressa after her performance against Hammer. I thought she flashed good skills and looked terrific.

But she has gone off the deep end with this comment. There's no way she can beat an elite male fighter.

She is feeling herself a little too much, overconfident due to being a big fish in the small pond that is women's boxing.
