Haymon/PBC might prevent the AJ vs Ortiz fight from happening.

Now that Miller got busted, AJ called out Ortiz and people were hoping the fight was going to happen but will it?

News just came out and it seems like Ortiz might not take the AJ fight, or that PBC/Haymon wont allow the fight to happen.

So werent certain people telling us that Ortiz is the bogeyman and AJ is ducking him? Whats happening now? Lets hope the latest news are just wrong.

I don't care what Steve Kim has to say. Pugmire is very credible though.

Says who? If that was so, Ortiz would have come out already, but the guy remains strangely quiet, probably Haymon told him not to say anything.

A lot of these bigmouth fighters/promo teams change there tune when they get offered a fight for real. Its been a real tough 12 months for the pbc fans though so dont be too hard on them, most their fighters have either lost or been exposed as cowards, oh well at least they got claressa shields to cheer on now

If Ortiz is indeed offered the fight without options for the same money Miller was going to make or more because of the short notice and he doesn't take it or his management tells him not to, then he needs to fire those fools and take the fight. He won't make that money anywhere else and his management isn't looking out for the best interests of the fighter. Point blank.

Or maybe like a lot of people have been saying these guys are cycling on/off PEDs and aren't ready to be drug tested on such short notice.

I was one of the people praying for Ortiz to get this sort of opportunity because of his daughter's medical issues, massively disappointed that they removed their name from the hat, don't really want to hear from this guy anymore when it comes to Joshua. Win or lose you should have pushed for this fight, the money alone is the reason why, whether he had 22 weeks or 7 weeks to prepare he wouldn't be the favourite going into that fight, so why don't you just take the money? He usually is vocal AFTER Joshua has a signed fight....SMH

Lance Pugmire is a real professional...reaching out directly to Luis Ortiz like you're supposed to.

I'd like to hear more from Ortiz personally. As well as from his management. Boxing media should be on the case.
