What doesn't make sense about it?
Ortiz isn't a champion.
This is a voluntary, not a mandatory.
The standard is the promoter getting options on the fighter next couple of fights.
So why would Hearn deviate from the standard and let Ortiz fight his cash cow without options on his next couple of fights?

This is false. The Ortiz fight was officially announced again on January 12th which is 7 weeks to train for Wilder. False narratives are futile here , haven't you figured that out yet....Ortiz was not training for a cancelled fight initially. smh.Ortiz never took the wilder fight on short notice, was in training for the initial fight that was to take place in November for 10 weeks and once November date was rescheduled to March still had over 10 weeks... 7 weeks though is enough time to be ready since he been in gym already so Hearn need to contact his team instead of running to media saying he thinks Ortiz don’t want a fight that hasn’t been offered to himComment

I think the word "duck" gets thrown around way too much, either way one of them is going to be viewed as a duck or a nobody, if Ortiz does accept the fight and loses, some will say well he didn't have a full camp and he's over the hill and he's Wilder's left overs, if he wins then AJ fans will say he was training for Miller and couldn't adjust with only 5 weeks to Ortiz. If Ortiz doesn't accept the fight, then it's because Ortiz is ducking, either way there is an out for any fans. This is also depending on whether they actually send Ortiz a contract and not just talk about it.Comment

The standard is a fucking rematch clause minimum. Nothing wrong with that.
This multi fight talk is just rumours from you. Nobody knows what the situation is or even whether Ortiz would have a problem with a 3 fight deal.
You are literally making up a roadblock to attack Hearn for something he hasn't even done.
Grow up.Comment

Gloss over the fact that he was already scheduled to fight wilder that November but test came back positive for blood pressure medication, once he was cleared by wbc they announced fight to take place in March after already stating after November fight they was going reschedule wilder/Ortiz with Ortiz stating he was still preparing to take on wilder in December once he was cleared by wbc... it’s plenty of articles on nsb about Ortiz and wilder stating in December they looking for a new date to stage fightLast edited by SchoolTheseCats; 04-17-2019, 02:36 PM.Comment

If you think Hearn won't deviate from the standard then why are you talking about "multi-fight deals" as if that was some dirty trick only Eddie pulled and a valid reason for Ortiz to turn down a shot at AJ??What doesn't make sense about it?
