PBC would like nothing more than for either of these two to lose. Fact is, Lopez and Loma will happen when TR wants it. The rest of this is just noise for the peasants. The fight will happen. You guys are acting like they've been asking this of Loma for years....the hype just started.

The funny thing is now they want him to fight Commey before Lomachenko. Why? What has Lopez done to deserve a shot at Commey's belt? Shouldn't he get a belt first to fight Commey? What's the difference? What am I missing? Can you explain to me, bro?

You know what I think of belts. All are garbage (that actually gives garbage a bad name) and they sometimes serve to duck fighters.

Note it was Commey who said that after recovering from his hand injury, he wanted to take a mandatory before getting back to Loma. While Commey said he didn't want a 'soft option', he does really, and likely didn't count on Teo getting mandated.

So its all to do with what Commey said. Teo is second highest ranked in the IBF rankings behind a no-name Nakatani, so in a position for his handlers to put pressure on the IBF to give him a shot.

I suspect Commey will no longer want a pre-Loma mandatory if it has to be Teo, which is good for us as less waiting around for Commey/Loma to happen.

Loma went to 135 because Tank's handlers told him 'not in this lifetime' and there was little else at 130 at the time. In comparison, he had Mikey saying saying 'if you come to 135, I'll fight ya', and as we saw, Linares was up for it too.

So what's he supposed to do - wait around at 130 for a bus that's never coming ?

He's not calling out Tank - listen to his exact words again, he is getting asked about Tank and answering the question by explaining the fight didn't/couldn't happen due to different motivations - Loma would fight just for the love of the sport (ie free), Tank wouldn't, that's the only thing he was trying to say.

Loma does say he'll go back to 130 any time Tank is up for it, meantime explaining why he doesn't expect it to happen - same reason it didn't happen last time he was at 130.

Loma wants belts. Why bother fighting everone that drops his name that has no belt that isnt even ranked in the top 10? He called out Mikey and I believe Mikey pulls a Canelo and hands him the belt but so far crickets.

After having to endure watching a 100/1 odds pummeling, why r we still mentioning rankings in this debate ?
