He ain't a power hitter. He hit Lacy with everything and couldn't put him out. The only knock down was more a combination of the punches and Lacy being dead tired.
no, he ain't a power hitter, but i don't think he's a soft hitter either, Lacy looks to have very good chin, he would have got him out of there eventually anyway, if it was the old 15 rounds.
If you're gonna say that, then what about Godzhand's brave effort under his pro name of Paulie Malignaggi?
Malignaggi fought well in a losing effort as well. I guess I should give him his props. The reason why I didnt is because I dont consider Cotto an A level fighter just yet. He's proved nothing cuz he's fought nobody.
Forget that...Performance of the year has to go to Oscar Larios in a losing effort against Manny Pacquaio. The guy almost KO'd Manny and fought brilliantly till the bitter end. He kept it competitive and exposed Manny's power as being slighty overrated.
Yes, but the fact of the matter is, losers, however brave they are, don't come first.
I read this week that he had a plate fitted for his cheekbone but reports that his nose and jaw were broken turned out to not be true...
His cheek swelled up quite a bit and I just went along with the media, but usually there's a lot of BULL**** in fights and excuses made after the fight...
