    Virgil knows that doesn't mean chit (beyond Canelo being able to be outboxed for a period of time). Canelo was getting Khan's timing down and then the result is what we saw, that was no accidental/lucky punch.

    What goes through a fighter's mind in a fight is like looking at an airplane's ****pit and display - there are a hundred different gauges and metres calculating and measuring things all at once - including your opponent's habits and how to capitalise on those habits and lure them into your traps, even if it takes many rounds capitalise on.

      Never known a boxer with so many excuses;
      He was wining!
      x.....couldn't deal with his speed....UNTIL!
      It was a 'lucky punch'
      I got caught cold.........etc.....etc!

      After Prescott annihilated this clown in 54 seconds he has been very well matched with only one real live name on his record who he was favourite to beat (Maidana) because of the guys limited boxing skills but good power.

      You only have to look at his record (unbeaten at welterweight...lol!)to realise this is only the second time EVER that Khan is not favourite to win .There are much better fighters out there than Amir Khan and have been the minute he stepped in to the division six years ago.The difference is Khan hasn't fought any of them and the truth is at any top level he has never proved himself .

      Saturday will show you ,if you don't already know just how weak Khan is against any one good.

              I think Canelo fought Khan that way because he knew one punch would end it, I think if Khan had a granite chin, he would have boxed more in the beginning, but at the end of the day, you have to SURVIVE 12 rounds to win a fight.

                Yeah right..okay Virgil.

                The only thing Kahn was beating was the canvas- he hit that hard than anything. Lol.
                Poor fella looked comatose.
                I commend him for not retiring after that knockout.

                    canelos always up on the cards. that doesnt always refelct reality or popular opinion. you constantly pretend like you dont know how boxing works and that you dont know that golden boy chooses and pays the judges.

                      Battered Canelo? lol He literally never outlanded Canelo in any round of the fight. Landed low percentage and Canelo was clearly the bigger puncher. He landed single digits punches every round but 1. Khan was on pace to land the fewest punches in any fight as a professional that's how low his output was trending before he got iced. Canelo gave away the first 2 rounds then picked it up and had Khan figured out by round 3 absolutely destroyed him to the body and kept timing him to the head. By the 6th round canelo was outboxing him and beating him up then put him to sleep
