You guys want to act like that is preposterous and an opinion out of the norm.

But it's not. Credible boxing people have expressed the exact same opinion.

That's the only reason why I brought up British and Mexican tv.
Sure, it was a close fight, but if we talk about the opinions of majorities of boxing fans, polls, they tend to side with GGG as the winner. And the gap is much more obvious than, for example, with GGG-Canelo II.

alex, ShoulderRoll initially replied to some muppet who insisted that Golovkin won 9-10 rounds

what I can't stand (not specifically from you, just in general) is talk about polls/fans

GTFOH, casual fans are dumb as shlt..... that has been proven repeatedly

I will go further..... they don't know how to score a fight, period

the only comment I will make is..... that was a very close fight, and many insiders had Jacobs winning

I don't give a fk who won..... just saying

Was Daniel Jacobs Robbed At MSG Against Gennady Golovkin? Experts Weigh In
"It seems most fighters felt Jacobs deserved the decision while members of the media were either neutral or agreeable with the decision. With such variance in opinion between fighters and the media, it would appear a rematch might be in order."
      https://www.forbes.com/sites/brianma.../#1a80751a36a3

the rematch of course..... never happened

FACT: that was a very close fight
FACT: there should have been a rematch

no surprise whatsoever that Golovkin did not rematch a guy who...
      1) he never wanted to fight in the first place
      2) he would never have faced, if not ordered by the WBA
      3) went life and death with him

if that was Canelo, you guys would be screaming for a rematch

Jacobs is a blabbermouth. Pirog, a virtually unknown fighter KO'd him almost unconscious and a much smaller GGG made him bite the dust as well. Canelo has never ever been knocked down. GGG couldn't do it in two attempts, not even close to that, why would this blabbermouth Will Smith twin be any threat to Canelo, if when he was like two divisions bigger than GGG he was backing up most of the fight, and fighting defensively? When he starts feeling the brutal body punches of Canelo, he will start running away from him the rest of the fight and that's the only thing that will prevent a KO loss of big-mouth Jacobs. We will see. Will be very interesting. I believe it will be a KO for Canelo in the late rounds, or a very easy decision for Canelo if Jacobs runs away most of the fight.
