Die hard mayweather fan here and I agree with you completely. That was not a dis more than it was Loma just stating a fact.

But I think Floyd is promoting Tank the wrong way. Resume is what makes you a ppv star, there is no business without resume.

Canelo had tough fights with Trout, Mayweather himself, Lara, and Cotto before he became a ppv star.

The goodwill of the fans and the media is earned, not given.

Tank will never become a ppv star if he continues to duck strong opposition.

Taking risks and winning or at the very least giving a good account of yourself is what gets you there, not ducking.

I think the part about Floyd not being a real athlete is what Ellerbe is responding to. I agree that being in tough helps build your profile, but i do believe that being in tough with the right folks is more important.

Im wit u guys, Davis is being coddled, looks to chubby for 130 and should move up to 135 and fight Loma, even if it’s after a tuneup or two.
