That was a business decision, and a blatant one at that. To call that anything else is foolish.

A businessman would go for the money, an athlete wants the best fight with the strongest opponent.

But in no shape or form, is Loma on Floyd's level. That includes boxing skills or business acumen. Loma has topped out at 135. Floyd went all the way to JMW. So the arguement stops there.

Mayweather has described himself as a "prizefighter" for years, and the best to ever do it honestly. He's forfeited belts to make the fight that promised more money. Loma is a few levels above most fighters today, in any weightclass, similar to how Floyd was a few years back. Loma wants to fight the best and wants the belts and the legacy because he's built such a remarkable legacy up until and including now. Hopefully boxers take more control of their careers like Floyd and also look to make the best fights, like Loma is.

I didn’t need to see him get clobbered by Spence to make that assessment.
Now loma’s last fight he is supposed to get rid of the likes of Crolla so I can’t give him any real credit there( even though I enjoyed the clinic) his last fight against pedrasa he just came of shoulder surgery that said he was horrible but mitigating circumstances. The fight before that he fought Linares who I really rate but was knocked out in the 1st round recently yet Loma had a competitive fight with him for those last 3 fights he is not P4P no1. Maybe 3.
Crawford I’m not impressed with his opponents so I’ve left 1 and 2 empty from my P4P list because no one deserves it. Maybe if Canelo knocks out Jacob or usyk knocks out Takam I might give it to them
I feel like people hate on him kinda in the same way many hated Eminim. He's just stellar in a game that is commonly a "minority" sport. I'm sure that's not easy to accept.

Floyd and Ellerbe are watching Tank like a hawk. They make him delete tweets whenever Tank tries to say something back to Loma. They keep silencing him at press conferences. It is really weird what is going on. Loma took what Floyd said as an attack on his own legacy that he is trying to build. He said to him basically throw the best you have at me in Tank.
Floyd Started all This
