Yeah, exactly. The game is incredibly watered down these days. It's sad really. It screws the modern guys out of competing with greats of the past really. I'd love to see things change but I see no end in sight, my friend. Great post!

youre right, the game is watered down... however loma does seem to break the mold. in his second fight he loses to salido, then in his very next fight he goes after gary russell jr. he could easily have been 1-2 in 3 fights. his run from martinez to linares was absolute quality and among the best runs ive seen from a boxer.

Yes, indeed. Pretty damn impressive. I thought the Pedraza win was solid as well. Crolla is a good win considering how Loma smashed him and beat him unlike anyone else had. Plus when you factor in Loma's shoulder going out in the Linares fight and then coming back for surgery for Pedraza, it's even better. With confidence in both shoulders, there's no way Pedraza would have gone the distance imo.

We've seen this BS before, a certain group , hypes up some one for a specific reason....and they get blown out when put up against REAL competition, if you can tie on some gloves and move around......youre a Champion. Its the american way (hatred and racism)
