Comments Thread For: The Master of Efficiency, The Lomachenko Way

By Tris Dixon - ALL but the very best will struggle to hang with Vasiliy Lomachenko. He reminded us of that with his fourth-round bludgeoning of Manchester's game but outgunned Anthony Crolla on Friday night in Los Angeles. Crolla was in the shape of his life and had trained like never before but it was in vain. A...

I am a huge Loma fan but this article is all about hype.
It's made out to make Loma seem like he's invincible an ATG which he is not just yet but could get their by the end of his career.
I think the writer forgot to include that Loma has been best once before even if it were to a Mexican cheat. Lol.

This article just tells people how talanted this man is and what he has achieved. No words about invincibility, you are lyer, you are not huge fan of Loma otherwise you would not call the article which tells true to people just praising talant of one of the best boxers of our era the hype.

Maybe I should go back and read it again but all I got from my first read was hype.
BTW Loma is my favourite fighter so I'm not trying to troll nothing either.

Loma just fought Crolla, a 100-1 mismatch, a real no hoper. Let's live in reality.

Let him beat Lopez and Davis and his hype will be justified. Going the Commey or the weak ass belt way, is not the way a real champ would go.

              Exactly.
The hype is unwarranted, by beating Crolla.
He done what he was meant to have done to a 100-1 mismatch.
All I can say is he lived up to his p4p position.
Bring on Lopez, Garcia and Davis if he beats these 3 guys plus beat guys like Commey, Berchalt in-between then that's how to get ATG status and p4p no1.

He can start with Teofimo Lopez, then Davis, if possible. The rest he can do later. I don't care for Commey or Mikey. I'm not a belt guy. I hope they disappear. They are ruining boxing.

                Cheers, bro. Goodnight.

It is a hype piece... strip away the effusive praise from this article and there is nothing of substance left. Such articles have their place of course, but usually they make more sense for a prospect breaking onto the scene or a top level guy turning in an unexpected masterclass against a perceived equal.

Not really fussed, I prefer to see fighters (whether they're among my favourites or not) built up rather than the constant negative BS you see on here, but that doesn't make this article anything other than it appears to be.

Is English a first language for this Tris Diсkson? Because it certainly looks like he is mexican worker somehow found near a type-machine.
