There is so much to this post that I couldn't imagine responding to it all in short order. I will say this, boxing is a violent sport with not the slightest rules on the so call class that certain fans seem to want to impose. With that said, its interesting that a fighter who respects his opponent in the ring, is charitable, a proper citizen, and is a proper father and mate to his lady is seen as casting a bad light on the sport. At worst he says some things eye catching in interviews.
I see a lot of fighter fans and less boxing fans these days. The nationalism and skin color bias is more prevalent today than it was in the golden years. What I am is intelligent enough to see through the superficial and appreciate boxing for what it really is. A sport where to gladiators get in the ring to cause more bodily harm to his opponent than is caused to him through skill will or brute force.
