Nobody gave Crolla a chance to win. But there were no people that expected Loma to KO Crolla so early, nevermind with 1 single shot.
I'll admit I heard some posters have doubts of ko or survival, but it wasn't based in any way shape or form on crollas merit as an opponent,it was based on doubts over Lomachekos shoulder/arm etc. & on doubts of whether hes not looking the same after injury or whether crolla would be able to shell up & run til the final bell. I didn't hear a single poster say that crolla would make it difficult for loma(I couldve sworn I was debating you or someone else about exactly this, whether crolla was completely rubbish as I claimed he was & you claimed he wasn't
You can see Bradley saying WOW!
Ward was underwhelmed.
Mismatch or whatever, I loved the display of Loma's skills.
The same whiners today are admiring Joe Louis's and Ali's defenses.
He is skilled, but when you are doing it against a certified can, it doesn't tell anything or impress anyone.
I actually saw a robotical, one dimensional style, flat footed Loma. Maybe it's the weight. Not saying Loma always fights robotical, but I have seen issues with stamina. I saw Loma almost blowing that breathe out in round 2. Against weak opponents, he can get away with that.

but he has done it against top fighters as well and when lopez and tank do it against cans it impresses you and tells you a lot. it tells you so much that you think they can beat loma so you cant have it both ways. maybe if he just keeps fighting cans like those guys he will win you over? yeah im sure thats it

Good point .
I chose Lomachenko / Dec / Wide thinking he would be tentative with the right hand because of the shoulder.
Looks like it's fully healed .
He has that smug disgusted look because he has a deep hatred for european fighters. Simple as that. If that was a black fighter KOing crolla BEST BELIEVE ward would be jumping with Joy!
And you’re basing this off what? Stop talking out of your ass. You’re forgetting ward is 50% white. You sound angry go eat a snickers or something

He was going for the kill and still blocking and evading any danger. Crolla was under constant pressure, spent most of the fight under the block, what Loma was doing was working great, many punches were going through.
There was no need for trickery, it was determination and confidence, at least it's what I saw.
But i do not exclude the possibility that his current weight (from my perspective he was a little overweight for his frame) can have a negative impact oh his performance.

Did Crolla even throw any punches? That's the height of mismatch. Crolla didn't even look like a boxer.
