it's not even the 10th option.

3rd tier elite specimens would rather play basketball in China or Europe.

btw yes Basketall has the best combat athletes.

the most important physical attribute aside from being an explosive brotha is height and length. almost all long reigning champs at HW are all taller/lengthier than their contemporaries.

Boxing is a lot more mental and physically grueling than other sports. Just because someone is a great athlete doesn't mean they would be a great boxer. To be a great fighter you have to have a certain mindstate and toughness.

You really think Lebron could handle boxing? Dude had to be carried off the court because he had a cramp.

if you get a kid in teh gym when he's 12 it's just a sport. and the athletic ones will do much, much better. you really think zion williamson and chris arreola would have identical outcomes if both guys trained with emanuel steward when they were teenagers? get real!

many of these current HW aren't tough enough to stay away from teh buffet table. some are literally too unathletic to run! what makes you think they are so tough? tony thompson has some kind of primordial talent that you think zion williamson can't possibly have? get real brih! these guys are in an inredibly competitive athletic environment and they train as hard as they can. they show toughness and drive in a different way, but they certainly show a drive that you don't always see in today's HW. jarrel miller was 320 lbs in his last fight! if he ran up and down a hardwood floor for 20 games he'd be icing his knees for six months.

If boxing or combat sports where that easy, surely with all the transferable motor skills from basketball? Zion Williamson should really be able to crack the top-10 ranking heavyweights within 2 years of training 'But guess what? He won't because, as stated in my first post! Fighting and combat sports are entirely different from basketball, Soccer or NFL. Some people are great athletes i.e They can run fast, they have great motor skills when it comes to ball sports etc 'But that does not mean that they can fight'.

I have seen some of the fights basketball players have on court, and they have always been pathetic.

I'm always a bit sceptical about the "super athlete" theory.
                    Michael Grant springs to mind.

he wouldn't. that's the point. so many things steer these kids into basketball and football.
