Hearn: Wilder To DAZN Is the Only Way Joshua Fight Gets Done

“It’s fantastic,” Hearn said regarding DAZN’s pursuit of Wilder. “I think we’ve got a brilliant chance of making the Joshua fight. The only way that deal was ever gonna get made was doing it this way – the John Skipper way.

You're playing a well known propagandist trick here .. taking part of a sentence and quoting it in a context you invented for yourself, rather than the whole sentence and the actual context of the conversation it was part of.

Or maybe somebody else played that trick on you - the shill who headlined that article - and you're too dumb to see what they did?

Hearn is not saying that AJ will only ever fight Wilder on DAZN. He's explaining why he stepped aside and John Skipper tried to close a deal with Wilder instead of Eddie himself.

That becomes very clear when you read the entire sentence and what came after it:

"The only way that deal was ever gonna get made was doing it this way – the John Skipper way. Meaning that there’s no relationship between me-Wilder, me-Shelly. I’ve reached out a dozen times to make offers, tried. Skipper has gotta be the one, in my opinion, that brokers the deal"

If I'm playing a trick, then so is BScene! Just look at the title of the thread! Secondly, what is the "John Skipper Way?" Is It not signing people to DAZN? Was that not why Hearn was excited? Was John Skipper trying to make the fight somewhere other than DAZN? Hearn expected John Skipper to do what he's been doing:

"So, he’s already proved, through the Canelo signing, and with me, with the Golovkin signing, that he’s very good at doing that. And I think that he will get Wilder. I think that he will put the deal together for Wilder to fight Joshua." - Eddie Hearn

Y'all wanna spin it like the "John Skipper Way is something it isn't!" The John Skipper Way is sign and fight, or don't sign, and then no fight! Hearn knows this! That's why he was so excited! FAILED! SO now that we know Joshua is just on a fight-by-fight basis with DAZN, let's see if this fight (Wilder or Fury) is somewhere other than DAZN? Don't hold your breath!

If you really feel BScene is simply using propaganda against your favorite fighters, please feel free to go elsewhere!

Boxingscene are US owned with an obvious agenda to favour US fighters and promoters.

They are always trying to play tricks on readers with their headlines and they do it because they know that the majority of their readers are dumb yanks who lack the ability to think critically and are as easily led as sheep.

In the article you quoted Hearn was talking about that particular offer which Skipper made to Wilder.

Wow, what a shock, the DAZN CEO made Wilder an offer for a fight that had to be DAZN. My God mate, are you really as dumb as that!!??

We fans call those fighters PBC
              There's no official Pbc contract
Miller was never a PBC fighter

Defended against Povetkin, who was considered top5 at the time in his 22nd fight.

Headlining in America in his 23rd fight against another top10 opponent.

Please share any other current heavyweight who you could even debate is anywhere near taking those sort of challenges on?
Got to fight the best, to be the best.
                That's how sport works.

Miller probably isn't even top 10, definitely not top 5.

                  You're so ****** and deranged, it's scary.

Yes I've followed your conversation on this thread. Wow!!

CBS who own Showtime, also own this very site. Now you know why that headline existed. But the fact you still couldn't see through the propaganda and see that the headline wasn't even a quote shows how detached from reality you and your mental asylum truly are.

The zombie apocalypse is already here... It's going on at this very second... It's in the US and it's filled with nothing but deranged zombies. Hopefully soon we'll send you back to your zombie graves... For the sake of mankind.

Ok so where as Joshua has taken on Klitschko, Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, etc - could you please share who your beloved Wilder has taken on?

From what I have seen - he has fought:

                    39 easy touches

Ortiz - regarded as potentially top5 by many but unclear due to his lack of top level opponents and that he has struggled against some weak opposition both before and after wilder.

Fury - although beating Klitschko (on points) was concencus still regarded the steel hammer as favourite for the rematch which didn’t happen.
Returning from his lay-off of 2-3 years out (including drink/drug abuse and significant weight loss) the majority felt this was too early to fight Deontay. The fight was officially a draw but Fury really won the fight and is acknowledged by most including many wilder fanboys such as boxingvoice.
Fury is now regarded as top5 along with AJ, Usyk, Wilder and Whyte with a majority holding him as #2 behind Joshua.

Wilder just fought the 2 scariest guys in the division.

Thes no excuse for fighting someone like Miller when you have 3 belts around your waist and claiming to be best in world. AJ has all the resources in the world to make a fight with anyone.
