Shields had a smart strategy. She forced Hammer completely out of her comfort zone. Great performance.

Christina appeared too scared to me. She was too afraid of mixing it up by avoiding the exchanges. There are only two minute rounds in women's boxing.

Therefore you've got to let your hands go more. She ran but she couldn't hide.

She couldn't afford to waste so much of her energy moving her feet and hugging while not throwing nearly enough punches to justify winning the fight.

She was on the verge of getting knocked out if it had not been for the excessive holding and spitting out her mouth piece. Claressa Shields was just the better overall and all around fighter.

I think that Claresaa Shields is the greatest woman's boxer in the world because she has the amateur pedigree to prove it; With two back to back Olympic Gold medals in a row.

Didn't see the fight but props to Shields on the win and also to Hammer for chasing the fight to try and be the best. It sounds like it was pretty one-sided which is too bad for a fight that probably got more exposure than any female fight will get again for years.

This was one of those fights where a fighter with some flaws puts it all together and clearly shows they cleared up those flaws and puts on a perfect performance and thats exactly what Shields did.

I don't think this has aything to do with race. There are more whites than blacks in any arena in the west and they root for black fighters All the time. Claressa is really annoying and talks as if she can fight when she can't. Se is really amateurish. Women's boxing is really rubbish.
