I don't usually watch women's boxing, but that was entertaining. Shields just sat and waited for Hammer to come in, and then launched her shots. Hammer just didn't have a plan-B or second gear.

Yea, I have seen both a few times but this is my first time going out of my way to watch them because the style matchup was intriguing. Classic US vs Euro stylings.

Hammer thought she was going to Klitschko her way through the fight but she didn't have the movement to control the distance and make it work. She let the counter puncher control the distance and got beat up for it.

Trying not to be a sexist douche - but Claressa is very emotional during her fights. That's when she starts flailing, that's when she got KD'd. Take someone like.. Canelo's or Golovkin's attitude and transplant into her body, and she'll become unbeatable. Those 2 dudes, nothing fazes them. When Canelo got hit in the back in the 1st fight, he emotionlessly pointed to it. When Golovkin got hit with a low blow, he just pointed down and then raised his gloves.

True, and I think that's one reason I've enjoyed watching her fight. She's raw an emotional. It makes me cringe at times but emotional boxers are always some of the most fun to watch.
