Why is Lopez even in the conversation? That Honduran dumb-ass never fought even a former world champion, has only 12 fights and ranked as 32nd lightweight by boxrec. The guy is LITERALLY nobody. You must be insane mentioning him in the same sentence with P4P #1.

The fight would be bad business for Arum, Lopez is a potential star. They want to build him up and get the Latino audience paying for him, throwing him in against someone like Loma would derail all of that. If I was Team Lopez and I really want this fight then get a belt, get your promoter to put you in the other two title fights.

As for Tank, glad to note your enthusiasm but maybe you could have a word in Ellerbe's ear

I think Arum doesn't want to make that fight simply because He wants two big money fighters instead of one.

I will say this about Lopez he doesn't have the names on his resume like Lomachenko has. So I wonder how he will hold up against a top guy. Which is also why I believe Loma should take the fight now while Lopez is green. If Lopez ends up sharpening his skills more he could pose more of a threat down the road.

I like Lopez but he hasn't fought anybody yet.. and he may very well get a Mayweather-Canelo type beat down going up against Loma at this point in his young career. It all looks good from the outside until he steps in with a seasoned veteran Champion like Loma that's still in his prime...
