Comments Thread For: Lomachenko on Toughest Foes: Campbell, Garcia - NOT Lopez

Vasiliy Lomachenko apologized for his English speaking skills after he knocked out Anthony Crolla with a right hand in the fourth round Friday to retain his WBO/WBA lightweight belts. There was no need to apologize. The pound-for-pound king, according to many, got his point across.

I think Campbell style and size would be a more difficult fight at this point. He’s skilled. Looked really good the last few fights. Lopez is a bit tailor made for Loma and would be loading up on his shots after a round or two.

Hope to see all these fights.

      1. Campbell will be fighting Haney for the vacate belt when Mikey vacates.

      2. Why not mention Lopez, who would spark Campbell? Lol

Man Lomachenko-Garcia and Commey-Lopez, with the winners facing off next would be great but very doubtful. Realistically, I think we'll see Loma-Commey and Lopez vs either pedraza or Beltran. Mikey will probably vacate and move to 140.

the reality is that if loma starts talking about a lopez fight it further builds interest...and bob arum doesn't want to have to make that fight......if loma hypes it and lopez does too then it becomes a reality.....and logical......but from the promoters point, who has them both, its not logical.....they can let lopez run his mouth off of lomas back.....but once loma starts talking it up then the people will demand it...and arum doesn't want that

loma already KOd the best at 135.

garcia is easy work. mikey doesnt do nearly as good against loma as he did against spence.

            lopez is dangerous and explosive.

            davis folds.

            campbell would be cool.

pacquiao at 135 would be interesting but i dont think he has much of a chance.

really berchelt is the toughest test
for him. itd be this eras chavez-whitaker.

I totally get it...if youre arum u don't really wanna make this fight

and the minute loma says its a tough fight that he wants then it becomes a reality and the public demands it...so loma has to be the guy to fan the flames here

Really! Campbell Tuff? Give me a break. Looks like Loma wants to continue fighting Euro level bums.

Both are win winnable fights. Maybe Mikey will take more chances with Lomachenko than he did with Spence but the footwork, angles, and feints would have the same effect.

I don't Mikey will win this one either.
