Teofimo Lopez reminds me of Broner 2.0

Lopez looks way more impressive than Broner ever did. I don't know how anybody could have watched the way Broner struggled badly against ex bantamweight Daniel Ponce De Leon and thought he would be an elite fighter. The only people who hyped Broner up like that were dumbass Floyd fanboys like Larryx.

I too think lopez is better, but that fight was after broner already won a title.

Nah he’s elite level talent IMO. He’s far better than Broner.

He’s not elite yet though. Still has a lot to learn but so far so good.

Based on what? Eye test? He never had a great amateur pedigree. Never medaled in any international tournament. I want to see him face a former champion.

Loma didn't do anything to deserve Salido that early in his career, but Salido wanted the fight. Loma has no plans to fight Lopez, so the latter needs to prove that he's worth the former's time.

No. Nobody is saying he should fight Haney or Stevenson yet, although I rank Haney. Depends what the eyes say about the prospect and what's available in the division. Lightweight is a dead division.
