I think he looks good and can go on to be good, but he's done nothing against anyone of note to give the impression he would hang with a legit P4P talent like Loma.

He's Boxingscene's latest 'boogeyman'. It's a bit unfortunate that he's being hyped up like that by guys who don't even root for him normally. They want a stick to beat Loma with, and if/when Loma fights and beats Lopez, they'll never mention him or watch him again.

good...im glad you admit the amateur stuff means nothing when it comes to pro boxing

so who did loma beat in the pros to get a world title shot in his 2nd fight? since you say lopez has done nothing to deserve a fight with loma

Lopez deserves it because he appears to have elite level talent and the kind of personality to sell the fight, Loma also deserved it as his circumstances were unique with the sheer number of amateur fights that he had coupled with the gold medals. Also can't put enough emphasis on the TR marketing machine. It would probably be as impressive as the GRJ fight if Loma wins.

If Lopez wants the fight that badly, let 'em have it. Most likely Loma will win, then the detractors will pretend the fight didn't happen and move on to the next Boogeyman.

Not fair to call him Broner just yet.

solid answer...its why the fight is sensible and should be made

but I just don't like hearing lomas fans say he deserved his title shot cause of amateur pedigree...then turning around and blaming the salido loss on his lack of "pro pedigree"......that's garbage...it doesn't jive

This is boxing where all men aren’t created equal. Lopez seems to be a skilled fighter but most importantly he will/is a popular fighter. And when you’re popular things come a bit easier.

not just his fans!! or his promoter! in fact I bet his promoter DOESNT want that fight....but LOPEZ DOES!!!!

so let lopez have what he wants...don't most guys run around saying "I wish more guys would take control of their careers and not hide behind their promtoers...and demand fights"

welp! heres lopez wanting to do that and you guys are hating on him for it! lol...go figure

                      like I said...lopez is threatning...he wont be a 40-1 dog
So if 10 more prospects with 10 fights call out lomachenko he's supposed to face them over a unification title fight? You make no sense.
