Mikeys fighting an exhibition match against Erik Morales. Doesn't give much faith that him and Loma are stepping in a ring together anytime soon

But if they fight tomorrow, gun to my head. I pick Loma by decision. He beats Mikey with his legs imo. Because of that as well as the difference in hand speeed I see Loma hitting more than Mikey and getting hit less than Mikey.

There's two ways to beat Loma imo. brute force and grit or by fighting the way Pedraza did for 12 rounds non stop. Pedrazas reach high and twitchy jab we're pissing Loma off until he finally found a way in and Pedraza fell apart. Not that he was winning but a better fighter with those same attributes would give Loma real problems

That’s his reward for being a punch bag for Spence? Everyone said it was a mismatch but he was too stubborn. I’ve never really rated Mikey as I don’t see a win over Broner or Easter as anything although I was amazed at his courage to want to face Spence. However after every round where he got beat up yet was still fist pumping I knew he was happy to just survive. Mikey has slow feet and slow hands, good timing though but Loma will embarrass him. He won’t stop him though because Mikey’s pumpkin head in impenetrable

I hope Loma stays at 135. Anything higher, and I think he risks getting mismatched. This is the top weight for him, and at 140 there are much bigger fighters who can hurt him and whose reach start to get to him regardless of how quick and talented he is. But I feel if he wants Garcia, he will need to get to a catch weight or get up to 140. I do not think Garcia will drop back down to 135.
